This page explains how Bytem AI (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit www.bytem.ai or contact us, and the terms for using this website. Our services to clients are covered by a separate written agreement, which names the Bytem AI entity you contract with. Questions about anything here: hello@bytem.ai.


Part 1: Privacy


What we collect


  • When you fill in the contact form or email us: your name, email address, what you write, and anything you share later, such as your company or store URL.

  • When you visit the site: technical data recorded by our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser, device, pages viewed and time of visit.

  • Work contact details (name, job title, company, work email) that businesses publish, for example on their websites or LinkedIn, so we can contact companies our service may help.


How we use it


To reply to you, arrange demos and follow up about our services; to send occasional emails about Bytem AI, which you can unsubscribe from at any time through the link in the email or by writing to hello@bytem.ai; to run and secure the site; and to keep records the law requires. We do not sell personal information. For visitors in the EEA and UK, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to and developing business relationships, and on your consent where the law requires it.


Cookies


The site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical storage to deliver the site.


Service providers


We use Framer to host the site and process the contact form, and Google Workspace for email. They process data only on our instructions. Data may be processed in countries other than your own.


Data we process for our clients


When an online store uses our recommendation services, we process its shoppers’ browsing and purchase events and its product feed on the store’s behalf, under our agreement with the store. We do not need shoppers’ names, email addresses or payment details. One client’s data is not used in another client’s model. If you shop at one of our clients’ stores and have a question about your data, please contact that store, and we will help it respond.


How long we keep it


We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires, and then delete it.


Your choices and rights


You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@bytem.ai. We reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.


Children


The site and our services are not directed at anyone under 16.


Part 2: Terms of use


The site and our services


The site gives general information about our services. Nothing on it is an offer that can be accepted. Our services, including any A/B test, pricing and payment terms, are provided only under a separate written agreement, and that agreement takes priority over this page.


Results shown on the site


Figures such as the revenue lift from a specific A/B test describe what happened for particular clients under particular conditions. They are examples, not a promise of the results your store will see.


Content and trademarks


The content on the site belongs to us or our licensors. Bytem AI and the Bytem AI logo are our trademarks. Other product names, such as Shopify or Google, belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility. Client names and quotes appear with the client’s permission.


Links and liability


The site may link to websites we do not control, and we are not responsible for them. The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site.
